The Android 14 webcam feature makes my $1,000 Pixel 8 Pro look like a cheap camera

  • It's actually great for traveling. You can buy a travel eSIM from wherever and have it activated right away.

  • It's actually below. It's only slightly above when the Samsung is throttling via the Game Optimizer Service.

  • Would be incredible if Samsung gave us back unlockable bootloaders in North America.

  • They didn't check credentials, but it was indeed for research purposes. Folks were getting access if they said they were a student or researcher.

  • It was already available for non-commercial use. The difference was that you had to submit a form and it was a slow roll-out.

  • Oh what! I definitely need to get caught up!

  • Definitely interested to see how this does in the real world.

  • Performance is important, but efficiency is where it's at!

  • I have Google Home devices sitting around unplugged because they became so useless. You know it's bad when Amazon has the better product (Alexa dependably controls smart home devices and have much better microphone arrays, audio quality, and aux audio out).

  • It's definitely aimed at controllers and docked keyboard and mouse.

  • It more consistently brings up Bitwarden as an option.

  • I'm also a longtime Bitwarden user. It's not 100% that it'll prompt if you exit out the first time and try again. It also doesn't always prompt for every login field when using Autofill service.

  • I'd like to see third-party password managers be as well integrated into Android as they are with iOS.

  • Oh that's very fair. I only picked up my 512 GB S23U due to the killer promos at launch.

  • The S23 Ultra is basically a note right on down to the S Pen slot.

  • Nope. Not everything needs to be like Reddit IMO.
