  • What? This is their real, day-to-day job. This isn't a competition, in the sense which you describe.

Their managers submit their works (read: the stuff they made at their day to day job) from the calendar year, which are reviewed in private by the judges.

If the goal was 'you have X time to make Y song within these parameters', you'd have a direct comparison but it is not, and you do not.

  • Overly simplistic outlook.

If you provide the sources and direct the LLM to use those sources, and then proofread the damn thing and cite the sources, it flat out is not plagiarism.

It's as much plagiarism as using a calculator is to find square roots.

  • Russia is a sanctioned nation with a public history of cyber attacks and false flag attacks on Americans. They also openly meddled in the 2016 and 2020 elections (thank fuck they didn't pull 2020 successfully).

Providing aid and comfort to Russian military and political figures is explicitly treason.

  • #1 is capturing as much customer data as possible, and that is way easier with a proprietary app.

Sales of data, both raw and curated, are a huge business and secondary income stream for most retailers.

  • Vwagy group cars are still being made this way. Audi engine, Lamborghini transmission, etc. The internal components are just shared between productions to cut costs, while they tweak the timings in the computer to match the customer expectations.

They got their hand slapped by the EPA for the TDI emissions line, but the cars are basically performance vehicles detuned. You can supe a modern jetta or golf up for under 3k, 90% of it is just changing the intake and exhaust manifolds while changing shift timings. The Jetta models actually improve fuel economy with an APR tune.
