  • Does it bother you? If you all share meals, will you both be able to be accommodated? If it's something you do, will going out to eat be a problem? (And to be fair, most places have one or two things like chicken tenders for people that don't care for the cuisine their restaurant specializes in.)

Some people might see his diet as limiting. Some might see it as a win, "I will always know what to get him."

If he and you are open to it, you might both explore ways to help him branch out, like recreating some of the Lunchables he likes. If he likes those, see if you can mix it up a little.

Now if this guy is just not open to new things all together (aka it's not just limited to food... food aversions can't always be helped), I would be far more cautious. That says a lot more about his personality.

If the whole mess just seems like too much trouble (no judgement), I just wouldn't bother. Life is too short to be dating someone that does something fundamental you can't stand.

  • And yet it gets worse the more rural you get. I know a buddy that lives 10 miles outside of the closest town and they can get up to 3Mbps. I know it gets even worse in the boonies. At least my cell service isn't terrible up there. It was pretty atrocious ~15 years ago.

  • This seems very anecdotal. It would be interesting to see some numbers on how different age groups interact with different UI types.

In my experience, most people prefer "card" view type interfaces. Most popular sites I can think of at the top of my head are like this. Instagram shows you a picture. Facebook you default see a post until it is truncated. New Reddit is like this as well. Twitter shows just a small post, and you can view threads that way too.

Even old sites that had list views tended to get more popular when you get a card view, like Reddit.

I'm not sure if it's generational.

  • I occasionally have to use Chrome because sometimes the sites I need to use won't work with Firefox. This includes bill pay for some of my utilities. (At least usually by the next month, the utility company fixes their site again so I can use Firefox...)

  • Someone didn't stop at their red light and would have t-boned me if I didn't stop early in the middle of the intersection. (Intersection was clear before I entered.) I got honked at by the person behind me.

Like... Chill, it's going to take a few seconds to maneuver around this nonstandard traffic situation.

  • My guess would have been strain relief if something tripped over the wire and pulled on it. Instead of putting pressure on the port on the car, it will instead put pressure on the knot by the tire.

But looking at the other answers I guess I was wrong lol.
