Thanks for checking. It's very odd. I had a quick look through the API and it's showing correctly as image/jpeg. Obviously I don't know how Connect determines whether to show an embed or a link so this might not be relevant.
btw, I just discovered that Connect is now available on the share list, and pre-fills the title and body. That'll make posting articles much easier - thanks!
I tried a couple of other instances I have accounts on, and they worked. So it looks like it's this specific combination of feddit.uk + Connect which doesn't show those images!
And if you dare question their masculinity by suggesting a woman might be able to do something other than be eye candy then they'll... well I don't know what they'll do. Probably just complain about it on social media.
In theory they all should - the read status is stored in your Lemmy account (provided the app is doing the appropriate API calls - if it isn't, raise a bug report!)
Oh, that sucks. Surely they could have added the Wii-specific credits afterwards and kept the original video. I've seen that sort of thing done many times.
That's interesting. I've only played the Wii version but I don't recall anybody saying anything was missing at the time. In fact, using the Wiimote to do the paint strokes was hailed as an improvement (having not played the original, I can't even envisage how doing the strokes with an analogue stick would work)
I don't have SSH Key in my navigation menu (actually I'm not even sure what it means by navigation menu - is this in the browser plugin or elsewhere?)
