  • I knew some Mexican-Americans growing up that celebrated it as a recognition of their heritage.

Besides, what's wrong with people celebrating a culture other than theirs?

  • Industrial leather boots last a year tops.

With respect, you're buying awful boots.

  • Honestly, I like the taste of cow's milk. I drink it because I enjoy it. I'm also a sucker for chocolate and milk.

  • John Stewart and Mike Birbiglia, would have loved to have seen that.

  • I mean, they were fairly unpopular among the fandom when the movie came out, and I think they are still somewhat unpopular.

  • Honestly never understood the hate for midichlorians. It never bothered me or struck me as stupid, silly, whatever people call it.

  • Being not a fan of someone saying "good" in regards to the death of 100 human beings is not equitable to being a fan of Putin. That is what we call a non sequitur; they do not relate to each other in a way that supports you making that conclusion.

  • Yes, I think it is weird. Russia's invasion of Ukraine is unconscionable and tragic. This view does not conflict with expressing remorse that 100 human beings were killed in the blink of an eye. The fact that you think holding the latter opinion means the person must be making a political statement is sad.

  • I don't have a direct line to Putin to take it up with him.

Valuing human life isn't coming across as approval of Putin's actions, is it? Cause that would be a weird conclusion to draw, imho.

  • That's not that the commenter said. You can abhor the death of 100 people, and still commend Ukraine for defending itself.

  • That seems unlikely, unless "any" means two.

  • Even still, it's a bit like the pot calling the kettle black.

  • She didn't say anything about naming it after him, she said he gets to name it.

  • For the record, I'm an advocate for everyone voting. Everyone should vote for who they want to represent them.

But that doesn't change what I said. People who didn't vote for Trump aren't the ones responsible for Trump winning an election. Thinking otherwise is just backwards

  • Pretty sure they don't tally up all the people who didn't vote and add it to Trump's total. If Trump wins you want to be mad, be mad at the people who voted for him.

  • Everyone should vote, yes. For the person they want to be president/represent them.

  • Bernie Sanders was arrested at protests in his youth, iirc. If there is any glimmer of hope in this shit storm, maybe in forty years a few of these students will be leading s political movement together as senators and representatives.

  • Player demo: https://demo.foundryvtt.com/join

It's worth the money, I've bought it twice.

If you can't afford 50 bucks right now, try it owlbear rodeo. Foundry usually goes on sale later in the year.
