  • For socks I was introduced to Feetures and stand by them 100%. I can't speak for life yet, but I've had them over a year and they still feel like new. I've also never had a sock that fit my foot properly until I got Feetures.

  • Heh, funny you should say that. My partner plays HH and doesn't love how much they simplified it in Rise, but she's still enjoying it overall.

  • Monster Hunter Rise. I've been a big MH fan since Tri and have hundreds of hours in each one since then, but for whatever reason, when Rise was announced and came out I just wasn't really excited for them. Partner and I picked it up over winter sale for an all time low thinking, ah at least we won't be too disappointed at this price. Got just as sucked in as previous MHs and am approaching 100 hours right now, lol.

  • It was horrifying. It was treasonous.

But the most in all of world history? I dunno.

  • A stressed out really bored cat is also sad though, not really cute imho.

  • You gain access to the installer files. This means that, if you wanted, you could back up them up on as many hard drives as you want and have them for the rest of the your life. Steam, on the other hands, you are purchasing a license to play the game.

  • I wasn't making an argument, simply making a statement.

  • It's a bullshit marketing term to appeal to pseudoscience and anti-intellectuals.

  • "Organic" and "nonGMO" are two things that will actively make me avoid your product.

  • And helping them have things the USA doesn't have, like universal healthcare and education!

  • I mean, that's a pretty good reason. I'm not too concerned why they do a good thing, as long as it's done.

  • I don't pirate, actually, but still casually peruse the community and try to stay up to date with news and such.

But even if I did, it's possible for someone to hold one view about software ownership, while holding another view about bigotry. I don't really think they are very related worldviews, in fact, so it's an odd comparison to make.

  • I do. ¯(ツ)

  • Tangentially related, but Empress is a bigot.

  • Lmao it's a rerun of last year.

  • I generally don't go out of my way to validate every crazy thing I read on the internet without any backing evidence supplied.

  • Because the point of federation is the choice, no?

  • It's not really that hard if you're actually passionate and interested in it. There's lots of resources out there for finding groups. And especially now, if you're willing to play online using a virtual tabletop, it's easier than ever.
