The whole jist of their comment was "why didn't he release it sooner", which you didn't address

It was on my front page. But it's meaningless bullshit. I'm disappointed at the community for upvoting it this much.

They are literally the #1 selling video game in the history of the world.

If that's not enough, the world is fucked.

To anybody that likes this game: check out killer queen.

It is a team vs team competitive arcade game that was inspired by joust. Truly a great game with lots of skill and strategy involved. Only downside is that there are few cabinets and it is relatively unknown.

Everybody is (rightly) saying this is a bullshit PR move and that he'll never pay.

Then why are you up voting this?

If we all know it's meaningless bs and non-news, downvote it. Stop giving it attention. Stop giving it the eyeballs and newscycles that he wants.

"Don't preorder games" doesn't mean "don't preorder unless it's your favorite series".

It means don't fucking give anybody money for a game that's not fucking out yet, period.

And you would have gotten to play them even without preordering.

But preordering gives the games industry bad incentives.

The fact that you even gave them money and had a preorder to cancel in the first place means you're part of the problem, my friend.

Not trying to argue that, "RPG" is one of the worst defined genres and I don't really care what you categorize it as, my point is that Zelda games are pretty consistently great, unique, and have pushed the envelope for decades, much like most other 1p Nintendo games

Literally everybody in my friend group hates Nintendo. I think all of us own a switch and always will buy Nintendo games. Mario is one of the best platformer franchises, Zelda one of the best RPGs. Hard to replace their consistent high quality franchises, even if we know the company is shit.

Both things are bad but you can't just equate two wildly different problems or act like the scope of them is even remotely the same.

One is a group of people being exploited in the present day, the other is the near end of life as we know if on earth.

They literally charged extra for more simultaneous streams, and let you set up multiple profiles. Password sharing was an intended, advertised feature that people paid for.

Wanting what you were sold is not entitled or privileged. That's a baseline of transactions.
