  • I've really enjoyed Neon. It still has snaps, but everything going through the Discovery app makes installs of flat oaks or snaps seamless.

    PopOS is great but threw me for a loop with its lack of GRUB.

  • I've tried everything. If you like a modern UI and simplicity, you want immich. The lead dev designs the app specifically so his wife is happy using it, and it shows.

  • I think I saw an option in the application to turn logins off. I do believe what you want to do is possible.

    There's also partner sharing, which maintains independent logins but also shared photos (I'm not sure how it works).

  • Sadly I'm not. There's a lot of regulatory hurdles required before even turning it on. So you pay for labor and a dedicated team navigating permits and regulations.
