For mail one method has been to scout out a house, the have mail sent to it. Pick it up from the house. (Nobody home, before owners retrieve it, etc) - this is illegal and considered theft of mail
An empty plot might be a better idea, I had an acquittance who installed a mailbox in an empty plot on his neighbourhood and had stuff sent there.
My previous employer used to donate to the sole maintainer of a php library we used extensively (I'm not a php developer, so I don't remember the name). It wasn't much, but it was something and it is unfortunate that it is not the norm
I've seen some anime releases where they had separate mka files for different languages and a little script to attach whatever dub you want into it. It is technically possible already, but super rare
In order to use the resizable BAR/SAM feature, you need a compatible CPU and GPU. This would make it possible to use older CPUs but you'll still need a compatible GPU which I think it's series 2000 and newer for nVidia, so no.
edit: technically you also need a compatible motherboard, but seems like most of them are, never hurts to double check
I have this one and I use it exactly as you describe, when 2 card are connected it recognise them both as separate drives.
So I can backup my camera photos (SD card) to the micro SD card just using my phone via the USB C port. Then I can connect it to my desktop computer with the USB A end.
The fact that they changed the default library view from playlists to a random mix of playlist, artists, albums and podcasts without the option to choose just one category is baffling. I'm all for user options, but not by taking user choice away
One of the main reasons I still pay for Spotify is because it is very cheap in my country, specially when splitting a family plan. However I noticed that the user experience has gone downhill over the past years.
I remember when I could seamlessly switch playback devices, from my car to my phone, to my computer and them a Chromecast almost instantaneously. Now I'm lucky if my devices recognise each other even if they are on the same network.
And if you have a poor internet connection, the app is near unusable because it tries yo grab online content first before checking whatever is downloaded. Time and time again I have to put my phone on aeroplane mode just for the main menu to load, it is so frustrating and this didn't happen some 5-6 years ago
one time, I asked and got a reply that it has been answered already, followed by a rant of why the hell people were asking the same question over and over again. IDK man, maybe you could update the installation instructions in your readme, then people wouldn't be flodding discord with the same question over and over again.
(it was regarding the project being incompatible with the newest version of a library and you had to manually install an older version to get it to work)
Interesting to see wormhole mentioned as non open source. The protocol and its CLI tools are, probably the web interface and GUIs are not
