Official development assistance (ODA) is government aid that promotes and specifically targets the economic development and welfare of developing countries.
DAC member countries’ bilateral ODA to Ukraine fell by 16.7% in 2024 compared to 2023 and amounted to USD 15.5 billion, representing 7.4% of total net ODA (a decline from 8.0% in 2023). Contributions from EU Institutions outpaced those from DAC member countries combined.
The part that is not given in the form of weapons is counted, but looking at the data I don't think the aid offered to Ukraine is a factor in the overall decline.
My 2 cents: it's is great when travelling but I end up visiting the website of the bus/train company to actually book the ticket, so it's mainly useful if you are somewhere and you don't know the companies offering public transport.
Edit: I'm from Europe and never went outside of it, don't know anything of how good it works in the rest of the world.
Ah, I am guilty of liking that. But I do think it is a very different taste than regular dark roasted chocolaty coffee and they should suprise you with a funky light-roasted one as their standard bean. Those are more suited for specialty places where they have multiple grinders with multiple beans.
I'd love it if they just went like "man walks nude in white house" and then show a picture of some guy walking around in a white house, focussing on the headline instead of the body of the text
Bullshit that it is not a good source, there is wide scientific consensus dairy is much more taxing for the environment. Only valid counter argument is that milk has more nutritional value, but this can easily be fixed by adding additional ingredients.
This graph shows soy is the clear winner across the board if you set off protein to g co2, but purely per glass cow milk is much more taxing for the environment as both graphs show
What do you mean?
