  • On my phone screen which is a low end Samsung it doesn't look potato. Guess you're just out of luck if you have some high res screen or a retina iPhone or smth

  • You can embed an image by writing ![optional alt text](img url), make sure the url actually leads to the image and end with something like .jpg .png or .webp

  • Demand it with more authority.

  • You forgot the most frequently asked question:

Can you downvote this comment more than once?

    No.

  • In NL we rounded off before the euro, only had 5, 10 and 25ct coins (and 1 and 2,5 guilder); after the euro came we all of a sudden had more coins (1, 2 , 5, 10, 20, 50) but within a few years collectively stopped using the 1 and 2 cent coins. Don't know who started, but I'm always a bit surprised when I'm in another eu country and get a single cent as change. I mean they eventually add up to something but it takes forever until you could theoretically buy something with it.

  • Not disposable is what you mean I think, the pet bottles aren't refilled so they actually are recycled unlike beer bottles which are reused and not single use (mehrweg in german). The term is a bit confusing because it is also used to describe stuff like plastic bags, cutlery and 'paper' cups (you bin those after using it once)

  • I think you meant "when your company needs a mascot and you are actually a brilliant artists very skilled at designing a wrapper for your vehicle". Lol

  • Ikr, like I'm gonna remember this infographic I scrolled by onc3

  • Some people just don't care about anything do they. Guess they went to this hostel one time too many.

  • he might be very very imperfect, but let's focus on getting the enemy, not the imperfect ally

  • They should have gone for a closed triangle, like the uppercase Greek letter delta: Δ.

  • Nowadays with pics like these I first start counting fingers lol

  • What you call lucky nature calls 'just keep trying mutating'

  • I don't disagree but a lot of chains rely on franchisers, who can still be a neighbour. Also the employees can still be your neighbour. Also the supplier can be your neighbor. Buying local is definitely a good choice, likely the better choice, but not all 'companies headquartered in a different city' are equally evil. Also because economy of scale is a thing. That's why you're not talking about 'companies headquartered in another street' for example.

  • A lot of people (including the prime minister lol) are called Dick in the Netherlands.

  • No I didn't, you have a url for me? /s

  • i am lazy but i'm not even saying doing less steps is worth the cancer it gets you. I'm just pointing out that simplicity isn't really a strong side of stainless steel when comparing it to teflon since simplicity is basically the only thing teflon has going for it.
