  • They would've been even more incompetent than usual to not expect some kind of border incursion. The FRL probing their defenses every couple of weeks should've been indication enough that it was a possibility. Still, it's pretty baffling that they were unprepared enough to lose such a large area that they could've fortified for over two years.

  • These are only the ones that could be verified through orbituaries and funerals. Considering the huge amount of soldiers that never make it back to be buried, this is only a small fraction of overall deaths. The number also does not include mercenaries.

  • This lighthouse is the oldest building in my city (Hamburg, Germany). It was completed 714 years ago. I actually had to look it up, I was kind of expecting the oldest building to be older than that.
