  • The additions appear to be helping. Of the 58 Leopard 1s the Ukrainians received between July 2023 and early September, just six have been confirmed destroyed. At the same time, it’s apparent the Ukrainians have been reluctant to send the Leopard 1s to the most dangerous sectors of the front.

Seems like Ukraine is taking a very sensible approach with these tanks. Pretty insane when you compare these losses to the comparable T-72s of the RuAF (1000+).

  • Control is such a gorgeous game. One of the few games that I 100%ed in recent years. The gameplay loop is insanely fun but it did get a bit repetitive towards the end.

  • Nevermind the fact that annexing Ukraine would also have moved their border to NATO.

  • You're absolutely right. I can't believe I mixed that up.

  • Well they are firmly within Russia's sphere of influence, so any action from them will be interesting.

  • I wonder what Azerbaijan's reaction will be to this.

  • When you really get into the nitty gritty with weight savings, 350 bucks for 12 kg of weight reduction seems like a total bargain.

You should post your project on !cars@lemmy.world :D

  • I recently had a very specific issue with KDE and the first and actually helpful result was a thread from a Lemmy instance. Never had this happen before, but it's a good sign.

  • Putin should just keep him.

  • Nice reference

  • You're right, that got lost in translation. It's a Russian military ID, not a passport.

  • It's Mr. Not Korean from Pyongyang Oblast.

  • Yeah, but this passport was issued for the Dzun-Khemchiksky District. There are no North Koreans there. And the Russian name doesn't match the Korean one at all. Full passport pic here:

  • They did arm them, they are running around with regular Russian gear in the videos that I've seen. Maybe even a bit better than average, considering the amount of Russians wearing beach slippers, trainers and tracksuits.

  • There are 100.000 bodies in a single mass grave. And that is just one out of five. That's kinda in a league of its own.

  • And in hour 500 your high-level character dies to some random branch scratching his neck as they walk though the woods.
