it is still the same, but we're already conditioned to have everything thrown at us on every single internet interaction, making the thought of searching something new seem like stepping out of our comfort zone
with AIs and what not, this feeling will only worsen
im fact they're closing one of the last scaled down power plant simulator, where scientists and students could have a hands down experience in learning about It
im not german, but its so sad, the thing was even made of glass so you could literally see the process
I don't like the idea o LLMs everywhere, but I do use chatgpt quite a lot as a point of entrance to any topic that I might not know the existence of yet
I wouldn't get outside without a heavy coat, we don't have temperatures below 0 where I live, if you think that by "freezing" I meant ice and snow, that would be incorrect
Your point about Kelvin true, you still need to do some converting, but as I said, the day to day use ultimately depends if you were raised using either.
Using me as an example, I completely understand that 1015C outside is freezing, 2227 is okay, 30~36 is hot and 40+ is scalding.
You could make this same point about fahrenheit and both are true, I have no ideia what 100F feels like, or 10 or 40 or 160.
While I don't have any strong opinions about this, I think the point of the post is:
While a linux bed can be good with some investment, It's not something that I would recommend to an average user, they wouldn't know how to use It out of the blue, and not everyone has large quantities of money or time to learn carpentry.
things can be demonstrated by math, wdym?
it has a larger complexity, and more variables to calculate, but overall 1+1 is known to be 2, you don't need the calculator to demonstrate that
