I don't agree. Technology in itself is not helpful nor harmful. It's a tool like a hammer or a knife or a pen and a block of paper.
I agree if one says that technology makes it easier to do harm.:) People and their motives and actions are the same as always, since the stone age and ago.
It could deliver more military support. But the political system, which I'd like to keep btw, doesn't allow a switch to war economy.
People like their social security, culture support and education and don't want tax raises. Politicians can't do what they want without losing support of the voters. And then there are the agendas of the many political parties in many countries...
To clarify: I mentioned him, as a person who had to endure murder threats and assassination attempts (for decades) because he openly stated his thoughts. I haven't read his books or know his opinions. My point is that his life is threatened for writing up his ideas.
It can't be said clear enough that Israel's military is committing horrible crimes in Gaza. This can't be justified. That's a point which doesn't need to be argued about I think. Everyone who stands up to end the suffering is right. On the other side it is really complicated to talk about anything besides this point.
I don't like it and was disgusted. First reflex was to downvote. On second thought... Downvotes are quite worthless as an answer to a specific question.
Whatever floats someone's boat. It has to be consensual and no one must get hurt. I don't have to look at it. I'm still wary at OP.
Normalization.... There are splatter movies too. So what. Playing pretend is a helpful valve and a better way than actually doing it. The Planet Vulkan approach 🖖 wouldn't work for humans. I wouldn't like to have my freedom restricted without very good reason (harming others would be one).
Exploitation/ harm. I have a feeling that there is porn media that is harmful for the participants and restrictive actions should be taken to prevent harm. In this case, the worst that could happen to a hentai painter is a repetitive strain injury. I guess.
So eew. But yea, do what you like if there is no harm? Maybe...
The deterrent effect of the death penalty isn't proven. I don't see positive effects if it doesn't help to prevent crimes. (there are other measures which do work)
I'm glad that it is that way here. I wouldn't want to live in a country that threatens to kill its inhabitants.
Edit: on second thought, my comment is off topic. Since the question was how many and not why. Sorry.
10 years and not much has changed. The violent extremists are still out there. Charly Hebdo just made some mediocre comics and they got executed for it.
Some humans are heinous. (No, i dont talk about the peaceful people which just take hope and strength from their belief. The violent ones. And the ones who use religion opportunistically for their cause.)
The mammy is usually portrayed as an older woman, overweight, and dark skinned. She is an idealized figure of a caregiver: amiable, loyal, maternal, non-threatening, obedient, and submissive. The mammy figure demonstrates deference to white authority.
Coffee: A portafilter machine I guess. It brewed coffee once upon a time. It even has those steam pipes to froth milk. The writing on the lower left says coffee something. There is a portafilter.
