Yep. Many people for example mistakenly think Los Angeles is near Disneyland.

If only I had a transporter available.

🤭 Thanks. Unfortunately, unless I planned a better day to Agua Dulce (the city which Vasquez Rocks is located), I wouldn’t dare make the drive again. On a Saturday, there was so much traffic for the 64 mile drive.

I mean, Raffi lived here. Memory Alpha says the appearances in PIC are Vasquez Rocks, not a differently named location.

I just realized this might be the same plaque that was from the set.

Many other episodes and not just TOS, filmed there.

Not this. This is pretty far removed from urban. 40 miles doesn’t seem like much unless you drove 2 hours to get there.

40 miles from Universal Studios that is.

I believe the plaque, as well as other parts of the set built for The Klingon Encounter (which was original to Star Trek: The Experience) had names of people who worked on it hidden throughout.

That is why I asked.

Are you able to read the plaque? Does it match the one from the series (I can’t recall if they show it in “Vox” or “The Last Generation”) or might it have names of those who worked on Red Alert?

I added a magnetic Fansets made IDIC to mine.

I saw a bridge photo op outside Quark’s. A tactical station and captains chair with the other stations as a backdrop. I got a photo forgot to redeem it.

I encountered many people who also have attended STLV.

Yeah that kind of thing, just like when they looked out for guest wearing Picard uniforms (as I mentioned before) to check their Combadge made me smile. I was in tears.

My expectation for Back to the Future was a linear story (it wasn’t that). There were actors you could interact with but you had to find them. The DeLorean with the dog was a photo op that had a huge line. There was a section of street set one fire perpetually like when the car goes 88mph.
