Surprisingly, there is a whole slew of exempt special-purpose bulbs that will continue to be manufactured, according to the Energy Department. Here’s what manufacturers can still build and stores can continue selling:

Appliance lamps, including fridge and oven lights
Black lights
Bug lamps
Colored lamps
Infrared lamps
Left-handed thread lamps
Plant lights
Floodlights
Reflector lamps
Showcase lamps
Traffic signals
Some other specialty lights, including marine lamps and some odd-sized bulbs

Sorting by new ends up creating a group that just picks winners and losers for those who don't. Hence "the knights of new" with their disingenuous framing that they were doing a public service. All they were really doing, whether they knew it or not, was picking which snowballs get to roll and which don't.

Most, if not all, have to sort by new or it just trades issues.

I don't understand why people get so angry at other instances for defederating. It's why the option exists. I fully support its usage. It's not like users are cut off from them, they can easily participate in both the defederat-or and defederat-ee's communities.

I’m not sure I agree. It’s had a huge impact on community colleges and a lot of state schools, but the issues really are varied and impact different schools/states in different ways and to different degrees.

Make no mistake, the democrats are better for schools than republicans. But we can’t just blame every single thing on republicans or we sound like them calling everyone they disagree with a commie in the 2000’s/2010’s.
