I want the rich to be taxed; the system is broken bc it allows for loopholes. 100% should just get a bill.

For the very rich, its extremely hard to know what they own, filing taxes allows them to hide all the details.

Yes, I wholly agree. I still think that the show is still firmly rooted in nostalgia not in making a new attempt to outline a future.

Kirk doesn't really violate them, also you can tell that the writers don't really have the rules of star fleet worked out in season 1 or even 2.

Modern Trek has no actual vision; it has nostalgia. Which is a terrible substitute it frankly is the opposite in many ways.

Everyone should have ownership of their home. I do not know the mechanism for how to transition from rent to ownership, but its the only ethical, economical way.

I think Biden is the accelerationist candidate. Why? Bc if Trump wins, the system will just roll over and enforce his whims. The Dems will just accept it, and there likely will never be any more democracy. It will be much harder to force change. However, if Biden wins, the right will not accept it. Either the republicans will attempt to disrupt the election results, or the right will escalate domestic terrorism, etc.

Or it won't. It will look like they are more popular and bolster the outlook for the party.

It also involves context; the post I replied to said it was not new. I simply noted that it occurred on slower days. My point being, you should check the dates of the source material for context. I made no judgment of the validity of that. You projected that. I agree with you It's fine to visit the past.
