Vacuuming is done! But also I have completely forgotten what I was up to with everything else. I feel like I'm in a bit of a career and identity crisis at the moment which is distracting me heaps. I will try my best to get back on track.
That's lovely and precious❤ I hear about people wanting to do Xmas in July from time to time but don't think I've ever participated. It's just kinda weird.
I guess Christmas in July is a real thing. At least KFC thinks so and says we should all be wearing ugly Christmas jumpers, putting up Christmas trees, ordering chicken buckets, and having the time of our lives with friends at a party.
Forgot about the vacuuming but progress has been made toward the to do and to learn lists. Not big leaps but feels good to have at least ticked off small tasks according to plan. Hope I can keep it up.
Hope you hear back soon. Unfortunately this has been happening all too often recently based on my own and other people's experiences. I had this HR person who kept saying they'll reschedule an interview and just kept coming up with excuses or you give them a time then they ghost you until they feel like calling you again. It was fucking rude. Sadly it may be a reflection of what companies are going through and I'd love to hear from an insider on wtf is really going on behind closed doors.
I didn't hear carols. Just saw decorated trees and I thought that was OTT. I thought the whole idea came from 'it's still a ways to go to Christmas and there are no public holidays so let's celebrate anyways'
Okay cleaned up after dinner and got the laundry folded. Didn't get around to vacuuming so tomorrow it'll have to be. Took a big task and broke it down into smaller tasks and will start with the first two tomorrow. Set myself some learning objectives and will start tonight. Yes I'm doing it I'm doing it. Slowly.
Eggs on toast for lunch. Sticking it to the cafe yesterday for asking for 3 bucks for an egg (yes not plural) to be added to my brekkie but I guess that's the going price but also wtf.
