  • What the fuck are you talking about? Likud undermined the peace process repeatedly and basically drove Hamas to attack, which is exactly what these folks are saying. Likud is also pushing this party line. The actual Holocaust wasn't in response to years of oppression. Using the "holocaust" language is antisemetic because it compares a horrific act of oppression to a horrific act in response to horrific oppression. These two should never be compared.

  • Watch "High on the Hog."

  • You know what else is poor food? Duck confit.

You know what else? Soul food is literally food made from things slaves got and grew themselves. Like, it's below poor food and it's absolutely amazing.

There's poverty food from all over the world that's amazing. The English are just bad at food.

  • It seems like Israelis who disagree with Likud are completely in the propaganda. The "Holocaust" language seems to be their propaganda. To be fair, it was a massive attack that impacted pretty much every Israeli. With something that personal, it's easy to turn around and use the language of the people who are ultimately responsible for this attack in the first place.

  • Think about the "demographics shifts" rhetoric. They're straight up saying "if we don't murder or criminalize a bunch of people, we have no future." The only path to continuing to enrich themselves is terrorism and mass murder. Like, I agree, if saving puppies was profitable they'd be doing that instead but it's not.

Their only agenda is enriching themselves. It's just that that agenda happens to coincidence with "kill everyone else or they'll stop us from taking all the money."

  • Yeah, game theory is abused in economics but it's probably the only useful thing associated with capitalist apologetics. The problem with the use of game theory within economics is the fact that it's using an overtly simplified model that doesn't actually reflect humans.

Corporations, however, are amoral manifestations of greed pure greed so they generally can be modeled pretty well with simple models in a lot of situations.

Game theory has a lot of applications outside of markets. One cool fact about game theory is that chimpanzees have a more intuitive understanding of it than humans. So it kind of looks like we either lost that for some reason (like... That it's not as necessary for us as we developed more collectivist tendencies) or we actually evolved away from that (that is, there's some evolutionary benefit for us to actually be bad at game theory).

  • Their goal isn't to win credibility with the sane. It's genocide. They want to exterminate or enslave anyone who disagrees because they know they'll never win back credibility.

  • This is how stochastic terrorism works. Fox news pumps out a constant stream of crazy shit that they can plausibly say are opinions or entertainment, then vulnerable people who are exposed to it intertwine it with their own delusions and carry out acts of violence. Fox and others keep upping their rhetoric to keep their people hooked, their viewers keep escalating their rhetoric, and their viewers become more and more radicalized. It starts with mentally ill people who've been poisoned by this taking action, and eventually the terrorism gets normalized.

IMHO, this will continue to happen more regularly until there are red hat mobs going door to door executing everyone with a pride flag or black lives matter sign in their window. The cops will be there to make sure no one resists the mob, just like they did with white riots in the past.

  • "Return to the office."

Uh... There aren't actually enough facilities here at the office because you downsized after the pandemic.

    "Return to the office now."

Ok, can I get a dedicated seat so I don't have to adjust my monitor for 10 minutes every time I come in?

"No, there aren't enough seats for everyone to have one."

    Oh....ok....

  • In other surprising news, water is wet.

  • They don't care about profits any more than feudalism did. It's about domination and sadism. Read "Bullshit Jobs" if you want to understand the dynamics here. Profit had absolutely nothing to do with it.

  • Read "Bullshit Jobs" if you haven't. Most "work" is really always been about control and enforcing a religious ideology that being subservient to someone else makes you a better person. Return to work is about the psychological domination of workers. We all know it was never about productivity but about justifying inequity through institutionalized sadism.

  • Agreed! What we find down there could save humanity, and, honestly, no one else is really brave enough or smart enough to do it.

  • We need to send at least two. You can't just trust the words of one billionaire. We should probably send at least 3 just to be on the safe side.

  • The two classes are the workers and the propertied class. The first supports it's by working, the second supports itself by the work or the first. Capitalism came from feudalism, with a propertied class and those that serve them.

Those who serve have always been divided internally against each other, with some form of warrior class acting as class traiters.
