  • Meanwhile Windows; Hi, you saved a file earlier? Let's search for it. Nope, can't find it, do you want to search Bing? No? [A few minutes later] Ooo, so sorry you're offline and can't download it. Too bad.

Ios; you want to open the file in an app? OK, click 7 buttons and we'll make a local copy stored in the app's specific folder you didn't know existed.

    Chrome; what's a file?

Linux; which file browser would you like to use today?

  • And somehow those plans always open up in some 3D render that shows everything like the HVAC pathways.

Imagine the character saying, hang on I gotta spend the next 3 hours trying to convert this into a modern format, post all my research to reddit begging for help, ultimately give up, manually replot everything and in 19 months finally get a reddit reply that says "solved it"

  • (Ignoring all the stolen work to train the models for a minute)

It's got its uses and potential, things like translations, writing prompts, or a research tool.

But all the products that force it in places that clearly do not need it and solving problems could be solved by two or three steps of logic.

The failed attempts at replacing jobs, screen resumes or monitoring employees is terrible.

Lastly the AI relationships are not good.

  • Forgot about the window size thing, I looked up the setting to make it open normally.

I know I'm defeating the purpose by undoing some of the settings, but I'd rather the defaults be set for privacy and I disable the few that are overbearing/hindering my use. Never did use containers, so I didn't know it was bad.

  • I am curious why Librewolf isn't for you?

Overall I've had no issue with librewolf. It's runs just like Firefox without some of the bloat. The very few sites I've found don't work, don't work on FF either (usually payment/online stores with popups and shit). Download whatever extension, change the settings and even sign into Firefox cloud. Yes, you'll make your "fingerprint" more unique but, the other security improvemts/defaults make it a worthy trade off.

Biggest annoyance is by default cookies/logged in sites are wiped on close. That can easily be changed globally, or white list what you want to save site settings for. Signing out of websites is a good habit anyway, especially ones with payment attached.

The neat part is there's a lot options to pick from, some of them are doing cool things like the one outta Japan Floorp looks interesting.

  • Some women want the slimmer pants, yet all the options with pockets are baggy. Yes you need some space for a pocket, but that doesn't mean the entire entire pant needs to be baggy.

Men's slim jeans are available with pockets able to accommodate a larger phone with out issue.
