  • It kind of put me off looking into it to be honest.

  • There’s some real inconsistencies somewhere in either Lemmy or Memmy then, it still works for me. Curious.

  • Completely agree with you on all of this, but I do think Apple are making moves to change this by working with developers on the Metal API. However that’s only forward facing rather than looking at “legacy” support for games. My problem is their focus on mobile first gaming rather than any of their other hardware.

As much as I like Apple products, I’m please Linux is finding its place in gaming. Something had to start giving Microsoft some competition somewhere.

  • I didn’t know much about this game, but the game title makes a whole lot of sense now.

  • We’d all hope so but how many times have people fallen for Peter Molyneuxs shenanigans.

  • That’s great news. It’s next on my list of games once I’m done with Armored Core.

  • Interested to know about this as well, I don’t see any mention of it on their site.

  • There’s too many polygons for this to be her actual design.

  • Don’t really have much opinion on the hardware but FFVII is a great game for on the go gaming, those era of games are usually on my go to lists, especially when travelling many hours. Glad to see people new to it finding some joy in the game.

  • I was recently looking for a song on Spotify that I remembered enjoying, what must’ve been 10 year ago. It had been removed from Spotify (greyed out in a playlist) but I sure as shit found it quickly on YouTube, uploaded by some random person.

  • Has to be. There’s always going to be a point in a games post-release lifecycle where the cost is just not worth it anymore. Shame these decisions always seem to be based on cost and not what’s right for the consumer.

  • This is great, one of the reasons I’ve not had my PS1&2 setup in my “gaming area” is because of the lack of reach on the official controllers from my unit (also loads of wires). So this definitely interests me!

  • I remember finding out Ridge Racer V was using them when it was released, and as cool as it was, it just seemed rather pointless. Sensitivity margin was so thin you had to be quite delicate with it.

  • The whole argument really is strange and all speculation. There’s plenty of areas where FFXVI and SE arguably fell short, but even by this guys own admission in his edit, the game met projections. If they were expecting to “unlock more,” those projections would have been higher.

If you look at their recent financial report this seems to be nothing to do with FFXVI as sales in that “HD Gaming” and “Merchandise” area are up. Literally every other area is down, even MMO sales (FFXIV).

Whether people like the game or not, it seems to have helped prevent SE suffer from a worse dip.

  • I’ve had two Razer Naga mice over the years for playing FFXIV. It works really well, and the first I bought still actually works - I just wanted the swappable plates of the Naga Trinity for when I was playing other games. I find them really solid to be honest and would definitely buy a third if I need to.

I can’t really speak for other mice, as I’ve not used others.

  • I'm trying reign in the hype but every time I hear or see more of this I get even more excited.

  • Shame really. They were games I wanted to play over the next few months but hadn’t gotten around to it yet.
