PeerTube is safe, with odd exceptipns. Most instances have completely blocked the porn instances, and NSFW-tagged videos often have the titles and thumbnails blurred.

You can find far dodgier stuff on YouTube.

They die to destroy the monster in this episode. There's a refuge pod in the centre of the location, which protects the protagonists from radiation. However, in order to destroy the monster that's been terrorising the town, they seal their friends inside the pod and then do something to release a gigantic amount of radiation.

I have, of course, come to the conclusion of what actually kills this character since I made this post. Nobody needs to worry though, as I'll definitely feature some aliens in a few episodes.

This would be a massive burst from all directions, absorbed through a faulty radiation suit. In my rough plan, the protagonists find a secret research station underground, where experiments were run involving delta radiation (which is a real thing, look it up).

They were already going to sacrifice themself to save the others. The mechanism of death, however, is an important part of the plot of this episode.

Even as a British person who has grown up with this organisation, though, I still don't really understand it.

It's a kind of shop. They do other things as well, but the shop is the most memorable. Co-Op is short for "Co-Operative".

They're related to the Co-Op Party, which is part of the Labour party (a popular left-wing political party).

I don't give a flying fuck about whether I'm using Gecko or WebKit. Both are open-source.

As for why I'm using Firefox over Safari, it gives me better tracking protection than vanilla Safari, it allows me to use SearXNG, and it means I can set a custom homepage. Also, for some reason, Safari has no private mode on my phone.

Not to mention that Mozilla is working on a Gecko-based version of the browser, as Apple is being forced by the EU to allow sideloading, third-party app stores, and third-party browser engines.

I like Ecosia. It may use Bing's results, but those are better than Google's these days.

Personally, though, I prefer metasearch engines, like SearXNG.

Well, there is NextDNS (and other providers, such as AdGuard DNS, rethinkDNS, and AhaDNS). It's not a VPN, and it's what I'm currently using alongside ProtonVPN (through WireGuard).

Thanks. However, it's not a matter of cost. I get my phones second-hand from family, and they always go for iPhones.

I've asked for a Pixel or Fairphone and explained that I would be more than happy to buy it myself, but I'm always met with a long explanation on why iPhones are objectively better, and the idea is shut down.

Honestly, with only 229 days to go until I'm 18, and a year until I leave home for either university or a gap year, I'd may as well just wait this one out.
