I use a separate app for my codes, if someone somehow gains access to my Bitwarden if they have TOTP as wellcthrn they have all my accounts. With my TOTP in another app they still can't access them.
I didn't understand the hype, everyone was saying "it's just a small convection oven". Sure it might be, but now I've used it, it definitely cooks differently and I much prefer it to my regular convection oven. I have been converted.
I have a Fold 3 now and still going. I do love it and not actually looking for a new phone, but battery life is atrocious and I kinda do have to baby it a little.
No. It still doesn't have all the communities and engagement that Reddit has. I used ReVanced on my app to keep using Reddit. But I am on it less as I try to spend my time on Lemmy first and only after then fall back to Reddit.
Yeah but it's solidified that I won't be doing it again. Switch emulation is brilliant, with another underpowered Switch console I don't doubt emulation will be easy.
Pretty much, I don't want a Switch. But I'm required to have one to play Nintendo games legally.
Considering how little I play my Switch I think I'm just going to wait and see how emulation for Switch 2 goes.
Nice work! Any plans to fork other bots like Roboragi from Reddit too? Given how it's federated it'd probably be best if it only worked by user mentions, it would also reduce bot spam. But I imagine it's a lot of work to convert it to lemmy.
There was one a few years ago that has since shut down. I think it was called Ruqqus or something? Using the website I think it was the best out of all the alternatives I've tried, the site was well made and enjoyable, good features and tools (open source, but not federated)
Only problem was the userbase was nothing but far-right users, so racist and bigots.
I think Lemmy is good, once the apps become more polished and refined then it might become my favourite.
iOS notifications are trash. On android you can two finger pull to expand and see more, you can hold to go to settings to mute. Better interaction in apps straight from notifications.
On iOS I'll clear my notifications, then later in the day they're somehow back if I scroll up, I hate that.
I'd like it to be modern. Up to date specs that can have games that look good, rather than releasing dated hardware at launch.
I'd like a console only version without a screen, like how the PSVita had the Vita TV. I have no interest in a portable Nintendo, I only play docked.
The ability to play old games on it. Switch games at the very least, but similar to wanting a console only version, add a disc tray and let me play GCN and Wii.
I don't like iOS. I have one as my work phone and I dislike it.
I dislike that I can't sideload apps (yes there's testflight but it sucks). A huge portion of apps I use are from F-Droid or GitHub. I dislike how iOS handles the home screen and app placements. I absolutely HATE iOS notifications, they're atrocious compared to how they're handled on Android.
I like Android, I like my Galaxy Fold, a lot would have to change for me to ever consider an iPhone.
I have both a Jsaux dock and a dock from Skull & Co.
Both work just as well as each other, except my Jsaux has Ethernet, my Skull & Co has a removable "core" so I have a portable dock which is good for potability, it also works with Nintendo Switch.
Valve have made it clear they won't be releasing a new version any time soon. It's your personal choice, can you afford it? Do you want to spend the money?
I think it's brilliant, but I know others who'd prefer a normal console.
