  • TL;DR: Eating Haribos after workouts doesn't benefit your body. People who are having controlled treats and cheats during their diet plans may be less obese (correlation). The author of this article concluded there's a causality between eating Haribos after workout and being able to stay on your diet plans based on anectodal knowledge.

  • lol I got the exact mouse in the post right next to me. it was the cheapest vertical mouse I could find and the scroll wheel makes awful skreeching noises. Works perfectly though and the wrist pain is long gone

  • That will be getting a problem in the future. People will start putting highly sensitive and confidential information into ChatGPT and the like. And of course they'll use this data. Industrial espionage might get as easy as asking a common LLM for help with a specific problem.

  • Had to do a similar project and it took me three full days of back and forth with another software before I found out EXCEL rounds small numbers in very weird ways.

Also, in EXCEL functions/formulas and data/values are wildly mixed.

(Not mentioning a plethora of other mildly infuriating quirks here)

  • I'm a bit confused why you're using NTFS on Linux, as there are a multitude of alternative options on file systems for Linux.

Nevertheless. You could try one of the following:

    1. Try using a virtual Windows environment such als Parallels or VirtualBox or qemu to boot up a Windows installation and copy/edit your files from there.
    2. If the requirement for NTFS is not mission critical, reformat your drives to exFAT, which is very well supported across Linux, Windos, macOS, and iOS/iPadOS. It should meet all your requirements
  • I really wonder Apple never bothered implementing and enabling that gesture by default everywhere. One thing Android certainly didn't get wrong, because a granular zoom with one finger is really comfortable.
