  • They've had over a year to deliver a dramatically better outcome. I voted democrat straight down the ticket like I always do, but I'm not going to delude myself into thinking they were actually going to produce a better outcome because biden refused to apply any pressure on israel and instead only sent billions of dollars of weapons in support. Harris was looking to continue the same policy. It should be a very easy win to denounce genocide, but they couldn't even do that during an election when they needed the votes. Why would they change policy after winning when they didn't need the votes?

  • Piece of shit found out that what the party can grant him, they can take away. Unfortunately for all of us, the party acted too late in ousting his decrepit genocide-loving ass.

When would the killing stop under biden (or harris who was happy to continue his policies)? Pausing one fucking shipment isn't the amazing stand for life that you think it is. Sure though, blame it all on Palestine and not the democrats refusing to listen to voters (on many issues, not just this one) during a fucking election. I'm sure if the other pro-genocide candidate got in, we'd all be living in fucking paradise.

The projection is strong with this fascist bitch.

  • That's literally American censorship and you can see the same pattern on all large American social media platforms. Youtube has the gamer to fascist pipeline set up with their recommendation system. Facebook recently did an "about face" which was really just making official their love of fascism. Twitter... is twitter. The capitalist class has always been fine with fascism and the platforms they own reflect that. Language is policed more than fascist rhetoric because advertisers don't like the language.

  • Oh, well that makes it completely useless then.

  • T-that's just a coincidence...!

  • Gamers back then were crying about it being unoptimized back then too. There is no care about what the game accomplishes, only that it has to run perfectly smooth on their hardware.

  • It helps Call of Duty 4 in that their levels were a lot more restricted and didn't have all the physics and AI calculations that Crysis had to do. Even then, Crysis had better graphics and more advanced effects.

  • Harsh but true. The downvoters aren't interested in reading the reality of the situation, and it does suck to see entire countries being treated as expendable pawns, but that's just how the game of global politics is played.

There is a reason why the west is not authorizing Ukraine to strike more aggressively deep within Russia even when Ukraine put in the hard work and made the sacrifice to counter the invasion.

  • Kids: Happily eating substitution

    You: Reveal the trick

Kids: "Well now we're not eating it anymore" (and also they could supposedly tell something was off all along)

  • My reference point is based on US prices for regular eggs, probably produced under those horrible conditions. I would pay more for eggs from chickens raised under better conditions, but it's hard to tell if it's actually the case or if it's just marketing BS because of all the loopholes that companies can exploit to qualify while still providing poor conditions.

  • That's okay, I can wait while the greedy middlemen jerk each other off over the flimsy excuse of avian flu. I refuse to pay over $2/dozen on eggs and I'm being generous with that limit. Would be interesting to understand why the value line of this chart rocketed up so hard while production didn't drop anywhere close to such a dramatic degree:

  • That's true but it doesn't apply to the vast majority of people. People who work in the government should be more aware of these things and I believe the tiktok ban started as only on government devices which is a lot more reasonable than a blanket ban.
