  • You're not wrong. I will unsubscribe from the meme communities now, so I don't have them anymore in my subscribed list at least. It's too much right now. There's still "All" if I need some memes.

  • I might be dumb, sorry.

  • Did you read the article?

The regulation of the European Parliament and the Council will apply to all batteries including all waste portable batteries, electric vehicle batteries, industrial batteries, starting, lightning and ignition (SLI) batteries (used mostly for vehicles and machinery) and batteries for light means of transport (e.g. electric bikes, e-mopeds, e-scooters).

Things like phones or wireless earbuds are not included.

  • It's true, but not because your skull acts like an antenna. It's because the signal is being reflected by the skull. You can actually just try it out, the range of your car keys will extend when you hold them to your chin.

  • That's the spirit!

  • There is a lot that goes in to sound engineering in order to make a movie going experience really good. Basically the sound is engineered to sound really good on the 100ish channels that movie theaters have, but when going to a home they have to crunch all that down to work with a 2.1 or 5.1 etc and there is inevitably loss due to overlapping frequencies and even immersive aspects. How can a voice seem to be as loud as an explosion for example.

A simple sound compression of the entire signal would solve the issue. VLC player has this feature and it's working perfectly.

  • This is pretty much the same thing that people think about the IT department.

  • There are no sorting options, yet. Would be great to have options like alphabetical, subscriber count and instance.

  • So you say this will run on my good old DS216j?

  • you can even run docker images on it

    Depending on the model ;)

  • maybe it is necessary to build an online community to have posts like that?

I'm pretty sure it is, but that bean meme was a little bit too much. On the other hand I can understand how people on this new platform are craving the feeling of community that memes and insider jokes evoke.

  • So you're basically saying reddit is mainly being used by people from 20 to 60 years. What a surprise ;)

  • That number contains a huge number of bots. The active users number is a much better way to track the growth of the Threadiverse.

  • Whoops

    Jump
  • The downfall of reddit doesn't suddenly turn Google+ into a good product.

  • All kinds of content. There's a difference between generating content and karma whoring.

  • But it also encourages people to generate content. It's a slippery slope.
