  • Outrageous. Time to pack her up and head for a obligatory 5 day family rave.

  • Yep, admins can give mod to anyone who posts to a given community.

  • "Basically, we’re in the process of replacing our whole social back-end with ActivityPub,” says Flipboard CEO Mike McCue. “I think Flipboard is going to be the first mainstream consumer service that existed in a walled garden that switches over to ActivityPub."

    OK, that sounds good.

  • I still have a lot of love for Mozilla, maybe since I've started using... Mozilla and even some of the recent steps of the management did not change that. But it would seem doing something like idk - integrating Fediverse elements into the browser, or pushing the concept further in some other way would be a bigger step forward, than launching an instance. Still good, sounds like a no-brainer to have one for staff/supporters, but does not push this concept as far as Mozilla has the potential to. Unless that's an element of some bigger plan I've missed?

  • Seems to be a pretty hardcore place;

  • Can't see Audire on f-droid. Audile is there.

  • You’re delusional to be thinking it's there for you.

  • Yeah, I'm rather to eastern-european for a amarican. And there's more guesswork in the article than there is any relation to logic. Guy states defense gives massive advantage, points out what decides of battlefields, and then glides over the issue of how that will favor Ukraine, particularly in winter, and trips out about what might have happened during some talks, but really he has nothing to back it up either way. Same as for the threefold increase in production. Or how Putin would go about mobilizing this massive population, even if he bothered to check the demography stats of it's age, or considered why they seem to be very afraid to do so.

    I'd be quite interested in a well researched article on Russian chances of winning, but this is some conservative rag bullshit.

  • Yeah, sure. Three day operation tops. Unless Russian corrupted system tops this.

  • I had some of my classes (14-15yr olds) assemble their own computers as the first class. It was cheap junk anyway, and I was willing to risk it, but it set the stage for the year. I dont think I got them to install system on it (whole school run on Linux btw), thats a great touch. And making it into something that entertaining, and stereotypes breaking is brilliant!

  • The article doesn't differentiate between firing at perceived thread and hitting some party-goers and opening fire at the party-goers en mass, and them being killed only by IDF and not at all by Hamas. As much as I can easily believe IDF killed at least some this reeks of propaganda.

  • Thats just one feature, might be possible to implement in AP.

  • Yep. Also did a search for open issues on the repo, but can't seem to find the right one.

  • China seems to be waging a influence war against Nepal, so I wouldent be that surprised if Tiktok was used as a weapon there.

  • I literally travel the world with it and it worked fine for me perfectly fine most of the time in places where I woulden't expect anything to work fine .

  • Czarnek is a fascist himself, and talks a lot. Sometimes that translates into actions, but this is most likely just sabre-rattling before the elections in Poland. That being said; all nazi collaborators deserve to be chased till death.
