Let me help you out friend, there is only one struggle, the class struggle. When you parrot billionaire talking points like that it’s the working class’ fault because we all chose from their rigged choices, or didn’t vote at all, or are a victim of decades of cradle to grave propaganda you help the billionaires keep us divided.

I really hope you can see beyond whatever culture war tactic is being used to divide us and stop spreading hateful messaging like working class people should lose their homes.

It’s all relative. There are too few places to escape to in modern society, given the rise of authoritarian globally. I was planning on Germany until the Russia/Ukraine conflict. Now I find it more prudent to stay in the U.S. and relocate to a low population area. For the handful of dense urban environments in the U.S. there are far more wide open spaces with no people.

If your video file is Japanese language use a whisper model optimized for Japanese. Once it produces the Japanese srt you can get translations from open ai. Use handbrake to add the srt to the file and you’re done. Good luck!

I maintain my own media library and I ensure every file has English and German subtitles. There are a variety of ways to source srt files but when all else fails a machine with enough compute can transcribe video files using open source whisper. After I generate an English srt file from the video I send it to OpenAI to create the German translation.
