  • While I respect them for their hardware, they need to up their software game. They've been left in the dust on update lifespan by Samsung and Google. I'm also miffed that they don't have much care for specification accuracy (or at least didn't when I got my US Xperia III).

  • That remains to be seen since one dnd isn't licensed at all yet. The possibility is there for them to use a different license for the next SRD, but it given the backlash they got at the beginning of the year, I think it's as likely they continue with Creative Commons on mechanics (which debatably aren't copyrightable in the first place).

  • Hydrogen is still likely to be a big part of vehicles going forward (either by combustion or fuel cell). Toyota's been putting a lot of money into developing it and heavy transit is going to need it since batteries take up too much weight. Infrastructure will be much easier to build when they finally get to market, though. Converting gas stations to hydrogen isn't terribly complicated.

  • It's not easy to advertise the fediverse because the choices easily overwhelm people. Just like email, what needs to happen to thrive is for large providers to appear such that there's like 4 big options to choose from and then the bunch of small options for those that want to look deeper.
