  • I think there's a "right" way to do this and a "temporary" way to do this.

Temporary: Paint with a brush and jam paint into the cracks to fill them. Paint again if necessary.

Right: Remove wallpaper. Paint. This will be MUCH more work and could lead to replacing the drywall which could uncover mold or other problems in the walls and turn "just painting" into a MAJOR PROJECT.

    The choice is yours.

  • I also have a G502 (mine is a Hero). I've had it for about 2 years and I'm pretty happy with it.

Upsides: I really like the little "sled" on the left for your thumb to ride on. I've never had this on any other mouse. Variable weight.

Only downside is that I sometimes bump the higher left side button on my kb when I'm not careful. This changes the DPI and screws me up pretty bad, esp. in games. Easy to undo with another button, but placement of that button is not ideal with my kb. More desk space could solve this.

Glad to hear its durable. Maybe I should buy another...

  • What does the method matter?

That's my point. If we're going to ban AI fakes should we then ban ALL fakes? Where do we draw the line and how do we do that without limiting free speech? I'm not sure it is possible.

And the days of believing everything you see are over but most don't know it yet.

  • How different is photoshopped fakes from AI fakes? Are we going to try to bad that too?

ETA: ban that too. Thx phone kb.

  • I would think once we get past the commercial property owners bitching about losing their shirts that the actual business owners would realize that the savings from renting much less office space would drive work from home. It is massively expensive to maintain office space for people.

  • It is inherently unfair, but not all work can be done remotely.

  • I think I used self checkout once in my life. I very quickly realized that they're pushing their work onto me and never went to self checkout again.

I also think those jobs matter. Not great jobs, sure. But they are jobs. I'm sure tech will eliminate cashier jobs someday but I don't see self checkout doing so.

  • I am pleased to read that the military is educating itself about this. It is vitally important.

  • The interwebs seem very, very concerned over Mac and Don's supperclub's ability to provide an awful excuse for "ice cream" in the world's worst cone. Stop the madness. Touch grass and eat real food, nerds.

  • The zoo of heavy petting.

    Why isn't this a thing?

  • Most of the "current" ones because I have not really watched TV for years. I see a lot of stuff on social media about them which is the only way I know that they exist.

  • It did not start out as an English word. It came from the Miami-Illinos language to Algonquin and/or Ojibwe to French then to English. So applying English language rules to a non-English word will be difficult.

But as AbouBenAdhem suggests ITT, treating it like the French word "Quebecquois" makes a lot of sense.
