You're right. They're buying F150s and Expeditions because that's much better for us.

I really doubt this for factories in the US. Whether you follow celebrity news or not, Musk's name is all over the place for one reason or another. US workers absolutely know what's going on.

These "development costs" are creating beta-level games and you don't even just pay $60 for a game anyway.

Street Fighter 6 is $60. Street Fighter 6's TMNT content alone (not including the base game) is $100. They have more than made up for any development costs with the ridiculous amount of "DLC" and MTX.

That's what a lot of Linux people miss. They've been dealing with it for a while already so a lot of them are like "it's so easy!" and then they have to start explaing repos and containers to people and the person just sticks to Windows.

No datacenter is shutting off of a leg, hall, row, or rack because "We have enough data, guys." Maybe at your university server room where CS majors are interning. These things are running 24/7/365 with UU tracking specifically to keep them up.

They stopped working. They don't need a bailout. The unions these workers give money to every paycheck are supposed to be going towards this stuff. Even if you sound like an idiot, I get what you're trying to say but it doesn't make sense to have a program for people being fired or laid off giving money to people who already have a source of income. It's unemployment, not universal income.
