  • He won with less than 30% of the populations vote because most Americans decided facism wasn't that bad so they stayed home. People who didn't vote for Harris or encouraged others not to vote for Harris looked at what Trump was selling and decided they'd like to buy.

  • Pure fucking market manipulation.

At this point I kind of hope China goes nuclear and implements a complete import and export ban with the United States. China has the social infrastructure inplace and debt head room to borrow their way out of any kind of financial crisis. The United States does not.

  • If you count humans as animals then cocaine and clothing from companies like Temu and Shein aren't vegan.

Cocaine manufacturing and distribution is full of human exploitation and suffering. Using it should go against the vegan ethos of avoiding consumption of things that are the product of exploitation. Similar to honey, milk, or eggs.

Similarly, Shien and Temu make nearly all of their products using slave labor in terrible working conditions using dangerous chemicals without any precautions.

  • Unfortunately the right has spent an incredible amount time and money making LGBTQ, DEI, and other "woke" issues the focus of the conversation around progressive politics. It's gotten to the point where anyone who supports broad application of civil rights has to spend all of their time and energy defending that support leaving no time or energy to pronote their economic policies like improved working conditions, better healthcare, or accessible child care.

It's a flood the zone strategy that has worked incredibly well. Particularly in purple districts where Democratic representatives that barely won thier districts see no path to reelection if they continue to support "woke" issues.

They're at the point where it's abandon some social issues and get reelected so they can champion economic issues, or continue to support social issues and lose their seat to a Republican who won't do either. Unfortunately in the real world their are people that have different opinions than ours and so elected officials have to pick their battles.

  • Public transportation and walkable cities are much better for the elderly and disabled who often can't drive due to their age and disability?

Taking a wheel chair or mobility scooter or be guided by your service dog are all subsets of "walk there".

  • Uhh...the boycott worked extremely well and AB InBev quickly distanced themselves from Dylan Mulvaney.

I'm beginning to suspect you don't actually understand of what you're talking about beyond a few catchy slogans you picked up in the student center.

  • Oh shit, a Democratic presidential nominee was endoresed by one of them? Thank you for bringing that to our attention. Everyone please pay attention. One of these people endorsed a Democratic presidential nominee. Don't vote for a Democrat for any public office! I repeat, don't vote for any Democratic nominee! But if you accidentally vote for Donald Trump or other republicans that's okay

  • No. Biden refused to listen to 10% of his base in the hopes of keeping the 90% happy. That 10% decided they'd "hold Biden accountable" by supporting Republican flavored genocide, because reasons. Congratulations, I'm sure Biden really learned his lesson.

  • lol, yes that is exactly right. Everything between Harris and Trump is exactly the same except Trump's diplomacy. You really have your finger on the pulse of world events.
