Over 90% of tax revenue is collected from less than 10% of the population. Tax the rich is a campaign lie. It already happens. About 50% of adults pay net 0% or get out more than they put in.

The middle class is shrinking and the wage gap is getting worse partly because of the progressive tax system. Only the top 0.1% have the ability to not care about taxes. And even if you taxed them at 100%, they have the tools and money to avoid paying taxes on the vast majority of their wealth.

Well, considering they don't build their product (it's contacted out), probably not.

My guess is ads don't work in cached pages.

I've been in the Bezos balls. (Anyone seen the old Woody Allen sex movie?) Neat but no good reason for them to be balls. It's just a climate controlled botanical garden.

I'll also note that the place is jam packed with staff that constantly ask you if you have any questions. Well... I asked questions and no one had any clue. Great job.

There's also a not great coffee bar inside. Underwhelming.

Well all they do is take in bulk shipments of, categorize, store, individually package, ship, and deliver products. I just really don't see how you could call that "distributing" goods. /s

i7 (mobile processor) with the built in Intel gpu. 16G ram. 120G ssd. It's an optiplex. They're pretty cheap on Amazon / ebay as refurbs. I bought it for the processor. Bought and upgraded the ram and ssd separately. I just have kodi on it (on Linux Mint). Everything is stored on my synology, which has an m.2 ssd cache. My TV is only 2k, so I haven't tried pushing any higher res stuff. I was surprised a few years ago when I started playing h.265 videos. No issues playing it at all. I didn't upgrade the ssd at first, but noticed the box got pretty hot by the end of a movie. That upgrade dropped the temp in the box a good bit. I don't think I'm pushing it much. It just gets warm a little and utilization remains under 50%. The box is really snappy too.

My MCPC is a micro PC that's at least 10 years old. It plays h.265 at 2k just fine. I'm excited to see things move back to media computers.

She's literally said that in interviews. She's super smart. She knows her persona is a product. That's not a jab. Every famous person that has a personal brand does this. Her brand just happens to be called the same as her name.

"AI" has been diluted to mean nothing but marketing wank. 99.999% of "AI" is single variable linear regression estimation. Almost all of the rest is multi variable linear regression.

I've had the same issue with creality filament. I'm sticking with inland. The creality filament just sucks. It's dry and I've spent far too many hours screwing around with settings. I've never had to fiddle with settings so much with so little return.
