  • Galaxian as Ridge Racer loaded on the PlayStation.

  • Was there any actual proof of this, aside from someone posing the question on Reddit because of high CPU usage? At least give genuine reasons.

  • I imagine everything you see in the trailer is in-engine footage, even if it's not being controlled by the player. This has always been the case with GTA trailers since GTA3.

  • Not that it'll ever make enough of a dent in their profits to make any difference anyway, but this could also swing the other way. If nobody buys their games because they're bad, the impression those in control could get is that Pokemon games are no longer profitable rather than there being a need to make them better.

  • If you're not making extensive use of your Humble Choice discount in the store, you might want to consider canceling each month that you don't like the games instead. I cancel every month regardless, then throughout the month I get emails offering increasing discounts on the current month's bundle, until I eventually get an offer for one month for Β£4.50 a couple of days before the current bundle ends. It's resulted in me getting twice as many games for less than half the normal monthly price.

  • Without GPD and others, there likely wouldn't even be a Steam Deck. They really paved the way and made the case for handheld PCs, which proved to Valve that there was a market worth investing in.

  • It depends on what you mean by better. GDScript is better integrated into the IDE, with C# really requiring that you use an external code editor currently, but both languages have very similar capabilities.

  • You can work in C# with Godot too.

  • So out of those users who have both read and voted on this post, 60% voted negatively. It's safe to assume that the majority of people who did both are those who feel strongly one way or the other about the issue, and statistically it's more likely that those who disagree will vote, as those who are angry about something tend to be the most vocal. Unfortunately we have no easy way of knowing how many users who read the post don't care one way or another.

In addition, Lemmy.world has around 21K users per month, and out of those around 1.5K users voted negatively. That's around 7% of the monthly users who disagree with this news. Hardly a majority.

  • Do you have any figures to show that the majority of the users on this instance are in favour of piracy? Or do you just assume you're in the majority?

  • If every single user of Lemmy.world, or even a significant majority, leaves because they're no longer able to discuss piracy, I'll fight both Zuck and Musk in a cage match. It's all hot air from a very vocal, overly entitled minority.

  • Sooo... you'd rather someone else do all the work and take on the burdens, but do it the way you want them to do it without contributing in any way?

  • Why do you assume that only US law applies here?

  • You're kidding nobody.

  • What surprises me is that people think making a community specifically for illegal activity isn't a problem, and that they should only be called on their behaviour when a copyright holder notices them. There are plenty of places to go for piracy online, so what's the need to add a community for it here? Or are you people claiming a piracy community wasn't primarily intended for piracy?

  • I also find entering numbers on a numpad to be much easier and feel more natural, probably because of growing up with calculators. They definitely have a place on modern keyboards.

  • Better yet, I'd like the option to automatically boot into desktop mode when I'm hooked up to a display, complete with desktop-specific settings.

  • Yes, this has already been debunked by multiple sources. Not sure why they're regurgitating this nonsense again.

  • I'm still waiting for mine, but it's on its way. I'm particularly looking forward to playing all the Game and Watch remakes on it. I might even make some games of my own.
