Your legacy is going to be “one of the people who played a central role in the destruction of the first American Republic”. You were one of the central characters who failed to keep the republic. You will get no quarter or adulation from historians, decades from now. It’s entirely likely you’re ushering in an era of American balkanization, and who the fuck knows how that’s gonna pan out, because we store a LOT of our nukes in the poor as fuck red states. We are entering an era of chaos, and you were one of the primary players who got us here. There is no redemption for you or your ilk. You will be the “bad guy” in the history books. You are hated. You will be reviled throughout history. You will be a counterexample. Your progeny will be shamed for generations, and you deserve it.
