  • There's no fight. No battle. It's just people trying to get by day to day. "Boomers" are not a nation, they're just another way to split up people trying to get by so one group can justify being shitty to another. Rich and powerful people are happy to promote anything that keeps us divided and conquered. Wars have leaders and strategies and clear lines drawn. The "generational war" is just rats fighting over a piece of cheese dropped by the rich and powerful looking for amusement.

  • Can you share the negative health effects of ptfe consumption? I would have assumed that it would be inert in humans considering it's extraordinarily inert properties. Obviously it breaks down at temperatures over 315c, but that's not really relevant with ptfe in the water.

  • Kind of surprised that you see that as weird. I served myself and would never dream of wearing the uniform improperly. Especially around stars and bars. HQs got nothing better to do than dress and appearance.

  • If they shared the encryption keys, then it wouldn't be safe from spoofing anymore. The whole point of encryption is to not share the keys.

Also, before someone tries to point out PKI, the satellites don't use PKI. So that's not relevant. You can't share the current keys without jeopardizing the system.

  • 90 f was the average temperature of the human body. 0 in fahrenheit used to be the eutectic point of water and ammonium chloride. Eventually though, the scale was adjusted so that the lower point was the freezing temperature of water (32 degrees) and the upper point was the boiling point of water (212 degrees) this was chosen so that there would be a highly divisible number between them (180) due to this adjustment, 0 isn't special in fahrenheit, and neither is 90.
