  • There are certain qualities that other nuts have that people might not like.

Almonds can be bitter, walnuts have a weird “drying” quality to the oil in them that might just feel weird, Brazil nuts are kinda bland. Cashews and peanuts are probably the most imitate and “middle of the road” while still having decent flavor and crunch, and peanuts are cheaper.

  • Yeah a game engine saving a studio hundreds of thousands of dollars or more per episode on lighting, comp, rendering, and set building or travel costs to shoot on location is not representative of the license fee paid

  • This is particularly for people using the engine to write film rending software which gets bought one for a lot of money but low volume, and gets used as a huge cost savings for mid-high end production that can save on lighting and comp passes or even render time.

High volume software(games) probably won’t change much at all.

Or at least that’s what SHOULD be happening.

  • Average, not necessarily sustained. Horse gotta rest at some point regardless of how much power it’s putting out

Iirc it’s an average over 1 day (24hrs) without regard to rest. So even sustained a horse is putting out more than 1hp at any given point in time
