Been using Stremio/Syncler + RealDebrid for a while but this is awesome! Definitely something to share with friends who aren't as savvy lol

This is kinda the premise of Brandon Sanderson's new book The Frugal Wizard's Handbook to Surviving Medieval England lol, I recommend it! It's one of the secret project Kickstarter books so it might not be on regular shelves yet but it should be soon, and the audiobook is out for sure

Not simping for Apple (I use Android) but you can sideload without jailbreak. You can do it with a free Apple dev account or with Sideloadly.

I think it speaks volumes about Apple that some people's knowledge about iPhones is based on years old info and negative experiences. Not that it matters to them.

Edit: for clarification, I think the fact you have to jump through hoops to put software on hardware you own is bullshit

Or I'll wait until I'm done reading but think I've voted so I scroll up to check. Either way, a mark at the bottom of the comment or on the right side would be useful

Haha it's a valid way of using Lemmy (and other websites!) but yeah, in the meme they're all android apps. Some are on the play store, some are in beta on github. Not sure which of these (if any) are available on iOS. There's also Connect which some people like. I prefer Sync personally, but Liftoff is pretty good.

Hey! Loving the app. One thing I'd appreciate is if it showed what instance you're on under or above the "Everything", "Local", and "Subscribed" text. It can be hard to tell the difference between accounts if I have them themed to look the same! For example,

• lemm.ee

Or something like that
