  • Two years for me, too. But I disagree that it's nicer than on Reddit. The way Lemmy works fosters the development of cliques. Also, with much fewer users it makes it so that 'power' users wind up having a weird cult-like following that boosts their posts/comments and suppresses anyone who dares to point out when those people mistreat other people and/or break the rules that are clearly applied selectively.

  • Ain't nothing wrong with a 'repost'* the issue is not spending 10 seconds to find a better copy instead of sharing whatever horrible quality version or one with needless edits/censoring that you happened to run into.

    *This does not include posting something that has been already posted recently

  • OnePlus fucking sucks anyway. I've had multiple and they are buggy as fuck. They do the same forced apps and shit that I loathe.

    IMO the only real option is a phone straight from Google and then you can more easily put a custom ROM than really anything else.
