Really? The only way I'd do it is if it was a repeat...
Just imagine all the money you could make on stocks knowing which companies will succeed in advance. But money isn't the endgame....imagine what you could DO with that money. All the lives you could change, all the tragedies you could prevent.......assuming you have the willpower to not be corrupted by it
I wasn't interested in one at the time so I didn't know any of this, I thought they just stopped making watches. I've been reconsidering getting one and probably wouldn't have looked into the history of each company so I appreciate the rant.
I've got a few of those. I'm planning to backup my friend's Twitter page and all our interactions since his account is private and I don't want to login ever again (after archiving)
Most of those have power buttons and, aside from the charger and vacuum, those things are supposed to stay on.
I meant more things like lamps that you actually turn on and off...And the majority lamps have switches nowadays, I'm not sure why you included it on your list
It made a lot more sense when things didn't have their own power switches but....what does that apply to anymore? How many devices do you own that are powered off exclusively by unplugging it? Why pay for the manufacturing time and material to add a switch if nothing uses it anymore?
That's a crazy choice in my opinion. Brian Thompson made what, 10 million a year? They could pay me 1/4 of his salary and I'd do everything I could to destroy the company until I got fired. I'd get AT LEAST one paycheck which would be a life-changing amount of money for the majority of the country.
I work in pro AV and so many companies do this. Wow, you say LOSSLESS video on a valens chip? Oh, you've never actually done a side-by-side conparison, have you..
Extron differentiates between lossless and "visually lossless" which I appreciate.
From the sign, I'm guessing this is a single location restaurant without the money to spend on AV. There is no digital signage system to update, it's just a USB with a jpg plugged into each TV and the owner would need their nephew's help updating them.
I work in commercial AV and my old company was often the first people the restaurants worked when they could afford it. I replaced several "systems" exactly like this.
People like you are why I can't dunk on "Tesla owners" as a whole. Are people just supposed to take a huge loss trading it in for another EV because Elon is a douche? Drive it until it dies and don't feel too bad about it.
That is a terrifying photograph
