Nobody is taking a luxurious distant holiday period. We're talking hypothetically

Not enough to be "disappointed" that people aren't talking about the climate implications of traveling, no. I wouldn't judge someone for taking a single vacation.

Bringing it up just feels like moral grandstanding. Let people have fun answering the hypothetical.

Not really when the windows in my house are nowhere near my neighbor's. My condo had a central staircase and a rear walk-up that were both well-uses

I lived in a condo with thick concrete walls and floors but there's only so much you can do about the doors and windows.

It wasn't unbearably loud but I was gifted a piano and was mortified to learn my neighbors could hear me learning to play thanks to the vibrations

A lot of otherwise reasonable people got swept up in this for one reason or another. There's no saving some of them but you're not gonna win anyone over by lying to them

"Did he say he wants us to be scammed? There must be a reason this that we don't understand"

Now what? You don't have a reason he would want that and they know it.

You don't get these people on our side by making shit up and giving them reasonable outs

It actually matters quite a lot because some of them are going to ask why and you're not going to have an answer, thereby accomplishing nothing but emboldening them

Nobody's breaking in because they know the smell will be overpowering

I was gonna make a joke about that in my original comment but I checked and was surprised to find that like 30k have been sold in the US

Don't undersell it as "over 300k" when it's a whopping 482k!
