If Clyburn endorses someone in a primary, it's a safe bet that's the worst person who could win.

He calls himself "progressive" because he's well into his 80s, but the world moved on and his views are now conservative.

He should have stepped aside 20 years ago and retired.

I mean, there's someone here who has (not even exaggerating) 15+ accounts that they just rotate thru.

It's a hassle to block them all because I still see new ones, but I'll take that over "proving myself" as a unique person with something like this.

To me, that sounds like a self correcting and sustainable system. If a country's government starts a war, the most likely result would be that political leader getting merc'd by the government of the country they attacked.

I understand why we give them different names...

But they're not really different, it's just human variation. Like a German shepherd and a beagle, they're still both dogs and can still reproduce, which is why they're not separate species.

They're still the same species as us. Our branch of the family tree just has the "uncanny valley" hatred, so anyone that doesn't look like who we grew up around became "them". So we pruned the shit out of our family tree till it's basically a straight line.

There's a lot of shit racists came up with 200 years ago that we just haven't thrown out yet, but it's going to take a while before we get the widespread acceptance that all those "distant relatives" really weren't that different than us.

Because if they do develop them and threaten to use them, it's the only way to stop you from attacking them. If Iran has nukes, then Israel has no reason to attack and a good reason to pursue peace for once in its entire existence.
