The inability of gov'ts to foresee and act upon basic lack-of-housing data - which has been available for decades - gives me little hope anything will change ... no matter who is in power.

When we accept refugees (which is a good thing) then force them to live on the street because of a lack of afforable housing, we are as evil as the nations they are escaping from.

As someone with hearing loss I second this. Reading lips often helps but when an actor mumbles, their lips barely moving, I lose almost all of what's said ... then must rewatch the clip 5 or 6 times to understand what's being stated.

I do use subtitles but streaming doesn't always have the sub file available either.

Because they fundamentally believe that laws do not apply to them ... they only enforce, not obey.

When Canadian city halls can be scammed like this we know we're in trouble. Problem is that education is controlled by each province/territory and trying to get them all to agree on anything is like pulling teeth.
