Cops are as bad here as they are in America, as are criminals and crime -- with the notable exception of gun-related crime and deaths.

The only difference between your nation and mine, in this context, is open-carry is NOT allowed.

Hate to tell you but he was rich before he ran cause both he and his wife are lawyers. So greed is off the table.

    Got anything else?

  • @djflusso @MicroWave

Coming from a nation with exactly zero right-to-carry I disagree.

I have visited the US before but honestly won't again. I'm just not comfortable walking around with people who have become immune to the violence they perpetuate by carrying guns just about everywhere.

It makes no sense to me to live in that kind of constant fear. Like seriously, I don't know how all you aren't dead because your amygdala and hypothalamus are exploding from the stress.

I've worked in greenhouses, growing seedlings for tree planting, vegetables and flowers. We used fungicide almost all of the time.

    Insecticide was rarely used.

But glysophates were never used as that's a herbicide. The most common one is Bayer-Monsanto's Round-Up and used on 98% of GMO crops in Canada.

Bayer-Monsanto has been working hard to keep it on the market (even tho New Brunswick has been finding evidence that it may be the cause of an illness killing people there).

It's not so much the distance (although that is a bit far for a 6-7 yr old to walk) ... it's that there are no sidewalks, so kids have to walk on the roadway, which means it's likely at least one will be hit this school year.

Doing things by the rules is a messy process. Obama ran his Presidency by the rules, yet was often blocked from doing good things.

Maybe check out the GOP shenanigans pulled to subvert Obama rather than simply blame him for what Republicans did.

  • @Alexstarfire @MicroWave

I searched his name. There's lots of pics of him out there. He's not trying to hide ... he likes the fame. Although that might change if he does 2+ years in jail.

  • @doppelgangmember @tst123

Probably because they never properly identified who we needed protecting from.

GD assholes ... Big Business, Wall St and the gov't.

  • @NathanielThomas

This is what every doctor I've seen (in multiple provinces) has done for decades.

They used to tell me they'd only call if there were issues, but most don't say anything anymore because it's common practice.

  • @DocMcStuffin @MicroWave

If they want to do that, fine. They just won't get any blood or blood products.

    Problem solved.
