In 2021, Ganim again sought reinstatement of his license to practice law. The Grievance Committee voted, 3–2, to recommend denial of Ganim's request, and in 2023 the Connecticut Superior Court agreed, finding that there was "insufficient" evidence that Ganim was morally fit to practice law.

From the article it seems at least some are Americans in politics ... and that not only sucks but it's dangerous as hell for anyone trying to get to the bottom of shit like this.

Not much is "normal" anymore. Early/more vicious/more often is the new normal in just about everything.

I never used to get the flu shot and rarely got the flu (like twice in 20 yrs or so). That changed in '08-'09 when I got hit with the Norwalk and it kicked my ass for weeks.

Now I get whatever shots are available.

As does the UK and a fair portion of the EU.

In America all debt does not, in fact, die with the individual. It can be passed down to spouses ... which is about as fucked up as it gets.

It did to me, because I have a locked-in pension from a former union job and after I quit I transferred it to my bank ... who proceeded to tell me I had no choice but to put it into stocks. As of rn it's finally back up to what I had in 2008.
