No, it's just not viable. Just maintaining the vacuum is hard and takes a lot of energy. Keeping it from imploding onto the high speed train is also very hard.

It's worse then that for the very rich. Their "charities" are made up of their friends and family, and the money eventually circles back to them. It's literally tax evasion.

Again, all rich ppl charities are money laundering. It has to do with how economics (epecially usa taxes) work. And those charities are useless, even more then carbon offsets.

Yea. They have worse efficiency. To get better efficiency from them you would need to run them hotter (afaik), and if you do that they would last even shorter.

It's great if you want a smaller but still strong engine, but it's not efficient and those seals are a big problem.

Gates at least does something. Yea all rich people charities are tax evasion schemes, but at least he does something. Musk kills turtles and strokes his rocket to it.
