  • Wasn't Brave always known to be shady in one way or the other? Which is why I never get why people say "remove Chrome get Brave" in 2023.

  • No, I mean his fanbois. His employees would get paid to do that stuff and then there would also again be a way for him to bear the consequences. His fanbois don't get paid and he doesn't bear the risk.

  • He'd be. But his fanbois already do that for him so he doesn't have to do it himself and worry about consequences.

  • I hate how these types of sad people with excuses for a life actually exist.

I express no sympathy at all towards them because these are the people because of whom we can't have nice things, they are undeserving of sympathy.
If they wanted my sympathy for their sociopathy they should go to therapy instead of wasting their time destroying everything that brings even the slightest amount of joy to others just because they can't feel joy themselves and can't handle other people and communities thriving.

    Fuck LMAO and his ilk.

  • It's of course not in general that was just my personal experience because I seemingly attract toxic people.

It's just that they were people I used to consider my best friend and my better best friend after that etc etc.. And some while into the friendship they just change, and no matter how forgiving I was or whatever I did or tried to change myself for the "better", it only ever became worse with them. We'd start fighting more regularly over increasingly mundane things, after a while our fights errupted into insults that get more serious with every other fight to the point where after the 50th fight or so I just didn't say anything anymore because it was pointless.

In my opinion the problem was that we became way too dependent on each other, for being only best friends, and loaded each other with so much of our own stress and trauma that at some point they just had to snap (I can handle stress pretty well because it's very much my standard emotion by now). I don't know how they saw it and I won't ask them because I know they'll just bombard me with insults or try to gaslight me.

It's only my personal experience, again. I hope some day someone can prove me wrong.

  • I need one for all the people in my life that I thought were soul mates but turned out to be toxic in the second half of friendship

  • Ngl you don't need to fuck your soulmate

  • Uploading directly uses server resources which are voluntarily provided, that's why using external providers and just posting links instead is usually better.

  • The problem is that generalization exists.

Every person that ever met or talked to a person that is part of the non-"normie" group does not want to associate with other people that might be in the same group. I've experienced it myself often enough even though I don't consider myself far gone like the people that talk to every "normie" in a condescending way, but they don't know it.

I genuinely try to hide the fact that I have fun tinkering with my PC or programming because of that. Because I do not want people that are not tech affinitive to think 'I'm probably just a stuck-up asshole'.

  • "Normie" is one of the few words that I cringe over everytime I read it. I consider myself to be in, or adjacent to, the group of people that would use that word, since I am tech affinitive and that group is usually the one that uses it. But I cringe everytime I see it used unironically because I don't want non-tech affinitive (or lesser affinitive) people to lump every person that has something to do with IT or similar into the group of people they don't want nothing to do with because they're always condescending towards them.

It's literally like as if you're saying "Did you know that I have an IQ of 150?".

You're not gatekeeping anyone out of your life by using that word, you're gatekeeping yourself out of every "normal" persons life by using that word.
