Also I read some of your other link as well, but it went into tangents about elite friend groups and while it was interesting I felt like watching one of those 2 hour videos about speedrunning where you get a huge infodump but are not sure what to take away from it.

I feel like the Chinese model is already way too far into pragmatism to ever idealistically flip the switch to abolishing their state at the endgame.

Does a global expansion require imperialism? Getting the entire world to sign up before dissolving sounds pretty mission impossible.

I didn't do anything special for the post. Simply posted the link. Lemmy somehow keeps embedding the entire website in the summary. It's a weird but funny bug which keeps happening at Almaydeen ony. But should probably be fixed.

I was kind of surprised they are batting this hard for Genocide Joe when he already lost them the election. You'd think that after Biden screwed their winning chances they would have slightly more disdain for him.

Not because of the genocide of course, they don't care about that because it doesn't affect them.

I too loathe that these hypocrites are pretending to finally notice something which has been going on for two years. But pushing them away is not a solution. Sadly we need to embrace these hypocrites and praise them for finally changing their stance in the hopes that more will follow.

We can still call them out on being very late. And hopefully in the future when "everyone has always been against this" push the government to proscecute all those who were accomplices for war crimes. But at least for now while the overton window is shifting there is no real point in fighting against it. Make it easy for more hypocrites to switch sides against genocide.

You should never trust anything coming out of Trump's mouth and only look at his actions. Actually, that counts for all politicians.

In this case, what is remarkable is that Trump did not visit Israel during his Middle East tour, which is basically unheard of for an American president.
