  • How much more feedback do you need to gather on the subject to understand that a bot with a garbage datasource is no use to anyone? Even opening this thread is an insult and a sign of how little you recognize and care for your community. Remove the shit bot already instead of fishing for excuses to keep it active.

  • I think I can understand how it would be confusing to someone to have female sanitary products in a male bathroom at a school. I can understand that these people feel like this is part of what influences youth to develop a certain way, and they want to prevent this development at all costs.

But it is really hard to stomach that there are people who think the existence of a tampon in someone's surrounding makes them question their gender, and removing the tampon restores order somehow.

  • As others have already pointed out, you must rotate the key. I don't even put any restrictions on that. Once you have shared a secret in any way, it is no longer a secret. Don't try to avoid work, just because it is an inconvenience. Convenience is the enemy of security.

Rotating your key is not enough though. Verify that it wasn't used. API providers also often provide audit logs to show when credentials were used and from which location. If someone had your key only for a second, they could have used it to generate a new key you don't even know about. Audit!

  • I can understand how that would be confusing to someone, but access to a place where you can change a child's diaper, or get a necessary product for your daughter, should not be exclusive to places that are designated for women. Every conservative father should be able to relate to that. But I obviously am unable to relate myself.

  • Borderlands to me felt a lot more linear than Fallout. Especially this heavy focus on loot in BL makes it so bland. I'm surprised someone thought this would even be a good universe to tell another story in. The comic book esthetic is fun, but always keeps the emergence at bay.

  • Now that you know the safe way out, break it again with dd and figure out the difference 😁

Moving from SATA to NVMe is a classic way to break the boot process. Most of the time, you want to boot a recovery mode from USB, mount your existing root and efi partitions, and then just reinstall grub.

If you've managed to recover this way only once, you feel a lot more comfortable in the future if shit goes wrong.
